Worldwide Web server statistics published May 2009 by Netcraft

As in every month, Netcraft, the current web server statistics for May 2009 published.

I find these numbers always interesting and the continuing enormous growth of Web sites amazes me every time again in the cold season.

Here is a brief summary:

A total of 235 890 526 websites will be achieved worldwide. This represents an increase of 4.3 million sites from the previous month of April.

Apache servers are still clearly followed the tips with a market share of around 45% of Microsoft servers, with a share of almost 30%.
